Your Right to Data Deletion

At Poker Mates, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to delete your data from Poker Mates.

How to Delete Your Data

There are three ways to delete your data from Poker Mates:

Option 1: Delete Your Account In-App

You can delete your account directly within the Poker Mates app using either method:

From the Profile screen:

1. Log in to your Poker Mates account
2. Go to your Profile tab
3. Tap Delete Account
4. Confirm your decision when prompted

From Edit Profile:

1. Log in to your Poker Mates account
2. Go to your Profile tab
3. Tap Edit Profile
4. Tap Delete Account
5. Confirm your decision when prompted

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Apple

If you use an Apple device, you can request data deletion through Apple:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
2. Tap your name at the top, then tap Sign-In & Security
3. Tap Apps Using Apple ID
4. Select Poker Mates
5. Tap Stop Using Apple ID or request to Delete Data

Apple will forward the deletion request to us and your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.

Option 3: Submit a Data Deletion Request via Email

If you are unable to access your account or prefer to request deletion via email:

1. Send an email to privacy@poker-mates.com
2. Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
3. Include the email address associated with your Poker Mates account
4. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request data deletion, the following information will be permanently removed:

• Account Information: Your email address, name, and profile details
• Game Data: All games you've created or participated in
• Group Memberships: Your membership in all poker groups
• Statistics: Your personal game statistics and history
• Predictions: Any winner predictions you've made
• Payment Information: Any payment handles or usernames stored in your profile
• Location Data: Any saved addresses or locations

Data Retention After Deletion

After you request deletion:

• Your personal information will be deleted within 30 days
• Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes (this data cannot be used to identify you)
• Certain information may be retained if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention)
• Backup copies may take up to 90 days to be fully purged from our systems

Third-Party Login Data

If you signed up using a third-party service (such as Facebook or Google):

• Deleting your Poker Mates account will remove all data stored by Poker Mates
• To revoke Poker Mates' access to your third-party account, you must also disconnect the app from your Facebook or Google account settings
• We do not retain any data from third-party services after account deletion

To Disconnect from Facebook:

1. Go to Facebook Settings & Privacy > Settings
2. Click on Apps and Websites
3. Find Poker Mates and click Remove

To Disconnect from Google:

1. Go to your Google Account at myaccount.google.com
2. Navigate to Security > Third-party apps with account access
3. Find Poker Mates and click Remove Access

Important Notes

If you are the owner of a poker group, please note:

• Transfer group ownership to another member before deleting your account, or the group will be deleted
• All games associated with a deleted group will also be removed
